Radically Reasonable is a new short documentary that explores the potential of constructive dialogue to prevent extreme behavior in discussions of the Middle East on campus and beyond. It is essential viewing for students and adults seeking more productive conversations about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Filmed amid surging post- October 7th antisemitism and islamophobia at colleges and universities across America, Radically Reasonable features vivid scenes of college students striving uneasily, but often heroically, for nuanced discourse about deep disagreements, shared values, and the urgency to bring people together.
Other students, educators, prominent activists and emerging leaders appear to share hard-earned wisdom — much of it actionable — from participating in dialogue and lived experience across generations of tumult and war.
The film captures a growing movement that champions engagement across differences and recognition of multiple perspectives as essential to resisting polarization and achieving lasting coexistence.
Radically Reasonable was shot on location in New York City, Austin, Washington D.C. and recorded virtually with participants in San Diego, South Carolina, Haifa and Jerusalem during 2024 and 2025.
Total running time: 54 mins.
Color, 4K, 2026
